Updates II (Instagram Version)

This photo was taken on Valentine’s Day. The last one that I spent as a Theresian. The reason why we got all dolled up was because we had to present our love poems during English class.

That’s me and Leanza, my bestfriend, taking jump shots at around 7 AM at our empty school grounds right after we had an early morning Zumba session with our batch after our Seniors Bash.

March 13, 2013. One of the best days of my life. I spent it with my classmates and we all met up in Ayala and watched a movie, Must Be Love (the one with Kathryn & Daniel, if you’re wondering) and all we did was fangirl and have fun and laughed & joked around. It was such a good day. We all decided to reunite after a week’s break from each other in preparation for our retreat and for the looooong hours of graduation practices that were coming. IVE Choys, I will always love you.

I present to you my Fourth Year class. This was taken on the last day of graduation practices when the whole batch gathered and we took our batch picture. These are the people that I spent all of my days with for the past year and to be honest, it wasn’t all fun at first. Basically, I loathed being placed in this section. I was unfair to them though cause I didn’t really give them a chance to impress me because I was too attached to my old section but that’s all in the past now because I am so happy and satisfied with my last year in high school. Self service on my graduation day! Hahahahaha. Everyone was taking pictures with everyone else and I wanted some pictures too so I grabbed the iPad and went around the stage and this was the result. This isn’t even everyone I took a picture with. It was madness at the stage after graduation!

I was the lucky girl who got two bouquets on her graduation day.

I had to super blur this picture because it served as a sneak peek to the people for our gradball. That’s me against the photo wall that was propped up during the ball. And it’s not that clear but it has a lot of pictures of our batch and it says, Black, White & Sparkle, which was our graduation ball’s theme.

I couldn’t resist making fun of my face on the photo wall. My face was on the photo wall numerous of times but this amused me the most. Hahahaha.

Real friends share fake dates. Here I am with EG and Jake. I’ve known these two since I was around 5 years old, I think. EG is actually our other classmates’ date but then, she wasn’t around and me and Jake wanted a picture with a date so we took him. Hahahaha. It was a great reunion of sorts.

Decided to have a salon day with my grandmother and my hair dresser decided to iron my hair after the hot oil. Safe to say, the classmates who saw me at the mall that day were so surprised. At one point, one classmate even ran down the escalator when she spotted me. I feel the love :>

May 3, 2013. Attended Ate Dam’s wedding and it was soooo great. She made such a beautiful bride.

Aaaaaand, I found this polaroid in one of the closets around the house. Time to find film!

Updates (Instagram Version)

I’m back on Instagram and basically, I’m getting addicted to it. Anyway, since I want to update my blog about what’s been happening in the time that I was away, I thought I could do this through my instagram pictures. I know what you’re saying, “GENIUS!” “HOW ORIGINAL!” Whatever, boohoo. Hahahahahaha.

So January was Sinulog month in Cebu. Yes, that means street parties, booze, paint fights, booze, ripped shirts, short shorts, more booze and praise. This was probably the first Sinulog wherein I was determined to change my tradition of always watching it in Abellana but instead, go out to the streets and enjoy it with my friends. Now, the occasion’s real purpose was not lost on me and my team since we completed the nine day novena for Snr. Sto. Nino, the sole reason for Sinulog.

I took this picture on the first day of the novena.

Mashie, Dax, Me and Aljenne up on the second floor of the Basilica right before the mass. Yes, we had to take a picture because we were mighty proud that we really persevered to finish the novena. I forgot which day this was though.

Right after the procession, I was with Mashie’s family (I really felt like the boyfriend that tagged along with the girlfriend’s family hahahahahaha) and we had dinner together. After that, her mom wanted to go to Cupcaken and so, I still tagged along because they offered to take me home. This was mine and Mashie’s first time in the cupcake parlor so of course, it was instagram worthy. Hahahaha.

Sinulog is officially here. Me and my team + my bestfriend got paint tattoos. We couldn’t get hennas because of our strict school. Pssh. Oh well.

#TeamVienna + Summer

Team Vienna is the name of the group made up of me, Aljenne, Frances, Marsheila and Jessica. This team came to be because of YMA. I’m pretty sure I blogged about my team before so I will not elaborate on so much stuff here.

Anyway, so we decided to reward ourselves. To be honest, we always seem to find ourselves giving “rewards” to ourselves since we really do deserve it. We gave our all- blood, sweat, tears, sleep, commitments, quality time and so much more, for our project and it was high time we also gave some stuff to ourselves. So, we decided to go on an island hopping trip. Yes, only the 5 of us + my dad and brother as “chaperones”.

Hi

This is my official ~*I’M BACK BITCHEZZZ*~ tumblr post. I haven’t been updating/proper blogging for months and I have no excuses, well, maybe I do. So many of them. I was in my fourth year of high school and to be honest, I didn’t want to forget about blogging but I was just so busy and I had so many things on my plate like, getting good grades, hanging out with friends and having a legit social life, saving the world, kicking ass at all the extra curricular activities at school all while I had to stay sane. So, one thing had to go and it’s sad that it had to be this blog and blogging and writing but fret no more, my friends, I am back with bangs, booms, fizzles, sparkles, fireworks and a better perspective on life (and better taste in music).

I think the most appropriate news that I should share with you guys here is that I’m leaving the country. Yep. This was such sudden news to me, too. I’m leaving for New Zealand either this month or the next. Up to now, I still don’t know what to feel/how I feel about this news. It’s like, I want to be happy but at the same time, I’m sad about leaving all the familiar stuff here in the Philippines. A new country serves as a fresh start and it’s all so exciting to me but it’s also really sad and slightly nerve wracking to just leave all the stuff that I grew up with, that I got used to but come what may, I am so ready to take on the world and what it’s going to offer to me.

What else… I think I should just give a recap or somewhat of a refresher as to who I am and what this blog is to me. Okay so,

Hi. I’m Veashka (Veyashka) and I’d rather it if you call me V. I’m a sixteen years old with a loud and really out there personality. This blog is mainly just a personal blog- I will rant here, I will post pictures of myself and my friends and anything that fancies me and basically, I will post anything that makes me feel something. To be quite honest, I don’t think much has changed with me, in regards to my personality. I am still feisty and opinionated and loud just maybe a bit taller and with more discipline and someone who has made a change in this world, that I am definite of.

Currently, it’s summer and classes are out! Basically, all I’m doing is go out with my friends, spend long hours on the internet and spend time with my cousins. It’s my last summer in the Philippines (for a while) and I intend on taking full advantage of it.

So yeah, that’s it for now.
